At Pict Ventures, we aim to revive that spirit, combining rigorous research with creative, crossdisciplinary thinking.
Using advanced machine learning, we develop practical solutions with real-world impact.
Our interests and activities, both past and present, have been wide ranging. Examples include an agritech alternative to chemical pesticides using a mobile laser-based platform (‘The Photonic Sprayer®’), image analysis for automated product and material quality measurement and carbon-neutral biomass power and heat generation.
This range of work has informed the development of our multi-domain Deep Truth® machine-learning software platform that sits at the heart of everything we make.
In addition, we have pioneered Defence Plasticity® for security and defence. This is a flexible design methodology that enables novel combinations of machine learning, additive manufacturing, and single-board computer to create life-protecting solutions.
Deep Truth® and Defence Plasticity® enable the development of products across our portfolio, including Electro-Optical (EO) drone detection, identification, and tracking systems such as SkySpyke® and Spyke®, to our directed-energy drone-neutralisation system, Spyke Dazzler®.
